Project Scorecards
The most reliable means of mitigating public acceptance risk is to site projects where they are most likely to avoid opposition. At this key stage, public affairs practices can inform both prospecting for Areas of Interest (AOIs) and evaluating potential AOIs for public acceptance risk based on measurable predictive criteria.
Bantam leverages a custom-produced objective scorecard and guide to evaluate public acceptance risk across regulatory, political, and sentiment domains. Nine weighted criteria are calculated to deliver an initial score for each project. This scoring algorithm becomes a repeatable measurement tool throughout the project’s development.
Project Scorecards integrate public acceptance data into the early stages of project planning, allowing for more informed decision-making and better project outcomes. By measuring and understanding the regulatory, sentiment, and political factors at play, developers can better anticipate and navigate potential challenges and necessary investments.
